Food Insecurity

What is Food Insecurity: The inability to access nutritional food to live an active and healthy life means that one suffers from food insecurity. Rather if the issue comes from lack of money or the lack of an adequate food source, uncertainty is present.

According to Businessinsider, by the end of 2020, the year of Covid-19, 54 million Americans were projected to face food insecurity going into 2021. We haven't seen this level of food insecurity since the Great Depression! This is why Peak Together has an altruistic approach to fitness and wellness.

Food, nutritional food, and fitness and wellness go hand and hand.

A higher risk of developing hypertension, heart disease, cancers, diabetes, and other ailments increasing America's mortality rates are linked to food insecurity.

As Peak Together grows, We aim to dedicate more time, effort, and resources to combating Food insecurity.
